The Summit Build Experience

Intentional. Structured. Personal.

Building a custom home should feel organized. Not overwhelming.

Most Summit homes move from first conversation to keys in approximately 9 to 14 months, depending on design complexity, permitting, and site conditions.

From day one, you will know where you stand.

What's the build timeline?

Land

1 - 6 Weeks

Whether you already own land or need help finding it, this phase is about making sure your homesite is the right fit for your build. If you have land, we evaluate the property for access, slope, setbacks, utilities, and other site conditions. If you do not, we can help identify and assess land that aligns with your goals, budget, and location preferences. This step typically takes 1–6 weeks, depending on whether a lot is already secured or still being selected.

Build

5 -7 Months

Once permits are approved, construction begins and your home comes to life. From site work and foundation to finishes and final walkthrough, we manage each stage of the process while keeping you informed along the way. This phase typically takes 5–7 months.

Customize

1 - 2 Months

Once the homesite is confirmed, we move into customizing your home around your lifestyle, design preferences, and budget. This includes plan adjustments, selections, and pricing alignment so everything is defined before construction begins. This phase typically takes 1–2 months.

Permitting

4 - 6 Weeks

After the design is finalized, we prepare plans and submit for the necessary approvals. We manage the permitting and pre-construction steps needed to move your home into the building phase as efficiently as possible. This phase typically takes 4–6 weeks.
